A dog with a twisted face becomes an online sensation

After his father started posting funny photos of the affectionate dog with a crooked face to silence people who call him “ugly,” the puppy rescued from an animal rescue center became famous on TiK Tok.

Alan is a one-year-old puppy with a significant facial deformity that gives him his unique appearance. He is the result of a mix between a Saluki and a Boxer. Because of this deformity, his nose twists and tilts to the right, exposing his lower teeth permanently.

Despite his physical limitations, his father’s films and photos have been widely shared on social media, making him an Internet celebrity.

On the Internet, a dog with a twisted face is very popular.

Photos show the happy pup lounging on the couch with his dad and receiving a tasty treat on the kitchen counter. At home, he can be seen playing with his family and foster siblings, and he loves to jump around.

The dog had a terrible start in life but is now enjoying his new life with Johanna, her husband Dan, their daughter Darcy, and other rescued critters.

Alan was discovered on the streets of Doha, Qatar, with his mother, father, and seven siblings when he was two months old. They transported him to a rescue center, where Johanna first met him 10 months ago and decided to stay with him.

Johanna said, according to the Daily Mail:

“As soon as I saw Alan and his twisted face, I knew I was going to adopt him. I couldn’t walk away, I was immediately hooked.

The woman was smitten with Alan’s crooked face but quickly discovered that not everyone found the puppy’s appearance adorable. So he created a Tik Tok account, hilariously titled “Alan the Ugly Dog,” to show how beautiful he is inside and out (Alan, the ugly dog).

Alan’s family wants to show the world that he is happy and living a normal life like any other dog.

Alan’s films of enjoying life to the fullest have propelled him to internet celebrity status, with over 140,000 followers, and over a million likes.

Johanna hopes the puppy Tik Tok, inspired by Alan’s celebrity, will inspire others to adopt special needs pets.

Johanna expressed herself in these words:

‘I have received a lot of negative feedback about Alan’s appearance. People have offered to donate money for him to have surgery to get his face back, but I can’t do that.

In reality, the woman took Alan to the vet to be evaluated for a probable operation and to avoid any breathing problems. However, after a thorough examination, it was determined that there was nothing wrong with him and he was perfectly healthy.

Alan’s nose and jaw would have to be fractured and realigned for surgery; this would be excruciatingly painful for something purely cosmetic; it would make no sense.

Johanna expressed herself as follows:

“I also get a lot of negative feedback regarding his TikTok username. It is considered insulting by some, even though it is meant to be humorous.

Johanna continued:

“Haters can say what they want, but Alan is our dog, and we know he’s beautiful and unique.”

Despite the snarky remarks, they receive thousands of sympathetic responses demonstrating the devotion of Alan’s fans. People stare at him and remark, “Look, it’s Tik Tok’s dog.” Now he can’t go anywhere without being recognized.

Johanna said:

“On your TikTok, the majority of comments and messages we get are extremely good. It is loved by everyone.

The woman takes the opportunity to point out that dogs adopted from shelters become the most amazing, and they will always be grateful to their adoptive families.

Johanna continues:

‘It’s kind of like having a natural therapy dog. Absorb all the worries and stress of this year by putting your palm on Alan and letting it all go. He has no idea what it looks like, so it doesn’t affect him; he’s a happy little dog.

Alan will continue to enjoy his wonderful life and show everyone that being different is not a problem or a barrier to happiness.
