A pair of crocheted ears is given to a stray cat who has lost his ears
Lady is the name of the sad kitten in the photo below. Lady in a Fur Coat is her full name, but most people just call her Lady.
Lady was a stray cat who was taken in by people who recognized she needed help and took her to the Dane County Humane Society. The veterinarians decided to remove her ear flaps because she was suffering from severe infections and bruises in her ears.

Lady had a 0% chance of being adopted if she didn’t have her ears. When a shelter staff member saw her without them, he had a great idea.
Lady became a fascinating and attractive cat after crocheting a hat in the style of cat ears.

Lady’s story was posted on the organization’s Facebook page as soon as she received her “new” ears.
Lady was adopted in less than 24 hours after the post went viral. Despite the fact that life has been difficult for our sweet Lady, she was able to get a new pair of ears and a permanent home thanks to the shelter.
Disability doesn’t stop Lady from being a very cool and loving cat. She loves her new home and her new owners, and we are glad that her story had a happy ending.
