An orphaned puppy with a tumor on his face is sad because passersby are laughing at him

An orphaned puppy with a tumor on his face is sad because passers-by are laughing at him.

Brady was used by neighborhood kids as a dog sled, who beat, kicked, and stoned his frail body.

These horrific acts covered him with countless bruises, which eventually led to the massive tumor that swallows his face more and more every day.

Weighing in at just over ten pounds, poor Brady spent his days dragging around a tumor half the size of his already tiny frame.

Every day he was forced to wander the streets, enduring the mockery and disgust of people who saw him as just another dirty, unwanted stray. At present, the tumor has begun to grow in his eye socket. He will have to undergo many tests and a very complicated operation.

He is far too weak to undergo anesthesia for such a long operation. That said, he will need intensive therapy and treatment to regain his strength and, depending on the removal, may need additional chemotherapy. Brady is doing well.

He is eating using the right side of his mouth and his appetite is great. This little guru wants to live, he is energetic and continually wags his tail. He is estimated to be less than a year old.

Unfortunately, the tumor on his face is suspected to be cancerous because it is hard and quite large: about 10-12 centimeters (4-5 inches). He is also severely malnourished. Brady is in good spirits. He is no longer hungry or cold. He is not alone anymore.

We are waiting for the animal hospital to open tomorrow to schedule Brady for x-rays and a biopsy. We need lots of prayers for Brady.

The +5-pound lump taking over his face has been officially removed. Brady has been assigned to a warm incubator bed. The staff is checking him hourly. He is on IV fluids and lots of medication. He will remain in the hospital for the next 5 nights at a minimum.

After two weeks, Brady is much healthier and has a comfortable new life. Thank you to everyone who made this project a reality.
