Angriest-Looking Stray Cat Is Actually A Total Sweetie

When a good Samaritan woman observed a grumpy-looking tabby cat lurking around her home in Akron, Ohio, she thought he wanted nothing to do with her. Not only was he constantly scowling, but he also seemed to have spent a lot of time outside.

However, when the woman got to know the cat, she realized that was not the case.

From the outside, the cat appeared to be angry, but all it wanted was to be loved. So she contacted Riggi Rescue to see if they could help this frail, flea-infested stray cat.

“We had taken some pictures of him when he first came in, and he looked so grumpy.” “Oh my gosh, is he nice?” I asked, and she replied, “Oh yes, he’s extremely nice.” The Dodo spoke with Melanie Anielski, the rescue’s lead foster mom. “It’s just his face,” the narrator said.

It doesn’t matter if he’s happy – he’s never really upset – he’s constantly staring at you with that little frown, and you can’t help but laugh when you see him.”

Rescuers named the cat Giggles, and they set out to find his owner. Despite his wrinkled expression, Giggles seemed relieved to be back with a family and made a point of thanking his adoptive parents.

“He has a laid-back personality,” Anielski noted. “He’s relaxed; he’ll drop-down next to you wherever you’re sitting and want you to scratch his belly. As a result, he is very affectionate.”

When no one claimed Giggles, the shelter shared a photo of him on their Facebook page to see if anyone knew him. They were caught off guard when photos of the grumpy cat went viral within days, sparking adoption requests from around the world.

“We were blown away since we’re just a small bunch of cat lovers, and now one of our cats is famous on Instagram,” said the group “According to Anielski.” “It was an exhilarating experience.”

The organization realized it was time to find a permanent home for the beloved cat after a month with his foster family. Fortunately, Giggles made choosing her new parents a breeze.

“The connection was immediate from the first time they met as if they had known each other forever,” adds Anielski. “It was the cutest thing I had ever seen. ” He simply walked up to his new mother, rubbed his hands on her legs, and turned around, and he was instantly smitten.”
