This brave husky found a box full of kittens while walking in the woods and decided to adopt them.
Banner is an adorable service dog with a heart of gold, who lives in Georgia, USA. Not only is she dedicated to helping her foster mom Whitney Braley manage her Ella disability, but Banner also has a knack for rescuing and caring for other animals in need.
This charming 3-year-old husky dog has been at Whitney’s side since she was a puppy. The woman herself trained Banner to help her and others with various tasks and situations, and she knows exactly how to handle herself when her owner is suffering from an anxiety attack or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
“She alerts on PTSD episodes, anxiety attacks, migraines, orientation work, impulses, medication retrieval, self-harm disruption, and a few others.
We do a lot of rescues and she is always attached to the kittens. Two years ago, I had my first baby kitten with a bottle I found in a ditch, and Banner raised him.”

Whitney is also a huge animal lover, so with Banner, they are a perfect match, and whenever they can perform a few rescues on their own.
So one day, while walking in the forest, they found a sealed cardboard box with 7 newborn kittens inside.
Banner immediately alerted Whitney and took her to the spot in the woods where the little cats were. After opening the box, the woman began removing the kittens one by one.

Whitney says in an interview with Metro:
“Someone must have put them in a cardboard box, screwed the lid on tight, and left them there to die. They probably thought no one would ever find them. I don’t even know how Banner knew they were there. The kittens would freeze and not meow or anything.”

Since the little kittens were rescued, Banner hasn’t left her side and decided to adopt them as if they were her children.
She is a very maternal and loving dog, and as long as the cats take care of her, she will make sure she is in perfect condition.
The puppies have been fostered and cared for at Whitney’s home, and she will then be responsible for finding loving homes for each of them.
“I will find the kittens suitable homes that will love them forever. Our local shelter usually sacrifices three days, so it’s best if I take care of them myself. That’s why I always end up taking care of the babies. I don’t want them to die.”
