Breeder Takes “Happiest” Puppy To Be Euthanized Due To Her Deformed Legs

A breeder takes his “happiest” puppy to be euthanized because of his deformed legs.
A dog had two deformed legs since birth, which made it difficult for her to walk. Since they thought she would never have a good quality of life, her breeder dropped her off to be put down. But they were dead wrong!
One family prevented this 5-week-old dog from being put to death. Tyra was brave and spirited, even though she weighed only half a pound. For a few months, the family cared for her as she developed her walking skills and gained strength. She is one of the happiest dogs, so she deserves to live a normal life like all dogs.

Tyra adapts to her new lifestyle
When Tyra’s breeder left her at a clinic to be killed, her life was worth saving. Tyra was turned over to Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, which found a foster home for the puppy. Tyra settled in immediately and became close to the family’s 70-pound black Labrador.

Tyra’s foster parent said, “We didn’t know what her long-term care needs would be when we brought her home, but we were determined to find out by her side.”
Tyra developed her mobility and play skills despite not having fully developed front legs. She underwent physical therapy before being fitted with a set of wheels that allowed her to run as fast as her canine friends.

Tyra’s foster family immediately loved her lively and independent nature. Her foster parents decided to adopt her because she adapted so well to their home. Thanks to them, she is now as happy as she can be!
A future happiness forever
Tyra has been living with her extended family for over a year and is getting more and more used to them every day. She loves meeting new people, trying new things, and having dogs around. After a long day, she loves to cuddle with her loved ones and her canine brother. She is very comfortable with her wheels.
Tyra’s human said, “We are impressed with her joy and tenacity. She also has a great personality and an energetic spirit.

Tyra may not look like an ordinary dog, but she doesn’t seem to mind. She doesn’t let her disability limit her, as she is just as capable as any other dog. Tyra loves to run around and show everyone that all dogs have a chance in life. Tyra is lucky to have found her wonderful family, because, for rescue dogs, a permanent home can make all the difference.
