Dog

Every day, a golden retriever puppy guides an older bl.i.n.d dog

It This puppy is adorable, and he doesn’t mind helping a bl. i.n.d. dog with his daily chores because they have a very strong bond.

The little dog is extremely good at leading and guarding his friend; they are both so adorable.

Tao, a beautiful senior Golden Retriever, and his mother, Melanie Jackson, have shared a long, fulfilling life together. The twelve-year-old dog’s happy life, however, a year ago, he was in.e.c.t.ed with glaucoma and l.o.st his vision.

But just as Tao was about to lose all hope, a small ray of light appeared and changed the course of his life.

A year ago, Jackson took his beloved dog Tao to the doctor when he unexpectedly began exhibiting symptoms of dis.co.m.f.ort. Just hours after the onset of the a.c.h.e., Tao lost vision in one of his eyes entirely and began shaking his head as if he were in p.a.i.n.

Tao’s blog. n.d eye had to be removed after the vet determined that Tao had glaucoma. A condition that causes fluid to build up inside the eye, causing an increase in intraocular pressure, resulting in p.a.i.n, re.d.n.ess, and vision loss. Tao, unfortunately, experienced bilateral glaucoma, which can affect one or both eyes.

Tao’s remaining eye had to be reshaped after his other eye was removed due to the extreme pressure.

Jackson was worried about his adorable child.

Surprisingly, after all that, lo.s.in.g the most important part of his body, Tao remains happy. That’s because he was sure of one thing: his family wouldn’t leave him.

Tao adapted to blindness fairly quickly. He learned to walk up the stairs by himself in a few days, and he was even able to walk without a leash.

Jackson felt that she needed to make Tao’s life better somehow, and that’s when Oko began to be Tao’s guide.🐕

Oko is an eight-week-old Golden retriever puppy with a happy disposition and a pure heart. Jackson recognized the puppy as the kind of lively friend Tao needed, as he oozed love and joy.

Not surprisingly, Tao had an immediate connection with the adorable fur ball who seemed to follow his every move.

Soon, Tao and Oko were eating, sleeping, playing, and cuddling together as one. They made each other incredibly happy and were the perfect couple.

With Oko by his side, he could fully appreciate and capitalize on his newfound vigor and love of life. Since he was no longer in agony, he felt and looked years younger.

Currently, Oko is Tao’s guide dog. When they are out and about, Tao has trained himself to stay close to Oko because he knows he can keep him safe and on track.

Jackson makes sure Oko fulfills his obligations and stays out of trouble for Tao, who is still an energetic and playful little pup.

Jackson said, “Tao is trained to follow Oko’s scent and Oko to listen and respond to my instructions: ‘stop, wait, go right, go left.

To determine which genes were responsible for Tao’s glaucoma, Jackson began drawing attention to canine glaucoma.

We couldn’t be happier for the two goldens as it’s obvious in every photo how much they adore and cherish each other.❤ Let’s hope for the best for them!!!

Tao has experienced so much love, joy, and adventure because of Oko, and we know he will always be grateful to his mom for bringing him into their lives.❤
