Two puppies, from an unwanted litter, were abandoned on the side of the road by an uncaring man. They could not take care of themselves but tried to find food.

Unfortunately, when one of the puppies approached the road, it was hit by a car. He died instantly, but his family could not understand why he did not move.

The surviving dog put his paws on his family and cried over his body. His howls were heard by a passerby who stopped to help. The man’s heart broke for the pup. He had never seen a pet suffer before. It was an eye-opener for sure. The puppy’s grief proved that pets are capable of feelings just like us.

The man picked up the surviving puppy and took him to a nearby veterinary clinic. When he arrived, he explained what he had discovered when he got home. The man was so sad that he couldn’t save the dog’s family. The warhorse and his team reassured the man that he had done his job in style and that they now needed to focus on the puppy that had made it.

Fortunately, the little dog had no significant injuries other than blood loss and some damage to his cognition. Nevertheless, he was force-fed and anemic. His anemia was severe and required incontinent treatment.

The puppy received blood transfusions and antibiotics. He also received pain medication. The staff made sure he got plenty of rest, food, and love! In just a few days, he looked so much better. Soon, the pup will be well enough to be placed in a medical foster home. A quirky group will be looking for a home for this deserving boy! Fortunately, some people show interest in this brave boy. He will go to a loving home with a family that will spoil him as he deserves.

This story begins tragically. Yet it is also triumphant! The family, now in heaven, is watching his stock for the rest of his life. He must be so happy that his loving family will have an amazing life.
