Rescued puppy can’t hide his happiness as he finally leaves the shelter
Matilda doesn’t let it get her down.
This adorable puppy is one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever see, despite a rough start in life.
This pit bull puppy was taken in as a stray by the Douglas County Animal Shelter in Georgia when she was just two months old.
She was infested with worms and suffered from skin problems, but despite her ailments, she acted like a little ray of sunshine from the first day of her rescue.
She made everyone at the shelter smile and shower them with kisses.
When Pibbles & More Animal Rescue met her at the shelter, they were immediately smitten and decided to place her in a foster home.
Then, when the time came for her to go to a foster home, her joy went into high gear.
Her little tail wagged so fast, it’s a wonder she didn’t fly away.
Matilda wagged her tail the whole way to her new foster mom, Kerrie Rich.
The drive took over an hour, but Matilda was too excited to stop.
Matilda didn’t seem to dwell on the past and couldn’t help but express her joy of life.
The adorable pup focuses on the good things in life and happily shares her joy with everyone around her.
Now, Matilda has settled in with Rich and is as cheerful as ever, continually wagging her tail.
Matilda loves to play with her new foster brothers and sisters and spreads joy throughout the house.
She is extremely affectionate and can’t help but cheer everyone up.
As soon as her skin is completely healed, she will be ready for the next step in her journey: finding a forever home.
We are totally jealous of whoever gets the chance to bring this beautiful girl home for life!
