What Remains Of Coqui Has Been Dragged Home He Has Received 17 Shots And Has Lost An Eye.
Laura Pereira, a young lady from Pontevedra, Spain, is overwhelmed by a sea of sensations of powerlessness, wrath, and grief.
She couldn’t believe how far hatred and cruelty can go in our world when she saw her cat, who had been gone for 15 days, return home.
The small child was used to entering and exiting the family farm. Even though Coqui was not Laura’s pet, he came to that location one lovely day and never wanted to go. He has never gone without food, shelter, or affection since then.
“What’ left of Coqui has been hauled back to his house.” “He’s been shot with a pellet gun at least 17 times, one of them in an eye that became infected and lost sight,” Laura added.
Laura rushed Coqui to the Peluxa veterinary clinic, where they discovered something heartbreaking:
“They had to imprison him and torture him for them to be able to fire 17 rounds at him; he also has another eye that is quite close to the other, so he almost lost both.” They may have left him for dead and then released him. He’s also underweight and dehydrated ».
Then he went on to say that the creature’s spirit is unshakable, despite everything he’s been through. “He’s in great spirits,” he continues, “he’s a strong and affectionate cat, and the poor animal hasn’t even complained.”
Laura was not free from criticism for letting Coqui escape, even if her objectives were always to reveal Coqui’s case solely to protest the truth, as she did subsequently before SEPRONA and the Civil Guard. She said that she couldn’t vouch for it because it wasn’t hers:
“I implore you not to attack us for being negligent because guilt is already eating us all,” he added. “My relatives who were in charge that day felt they were doing the best for the cat by allowing it to roam and be free,” he said.
“We bear sole responsibility, which is why we are not seeking financial assistance or anything other than knowledge and justice.” “However, whoever did this is completely to blame,” he asserted.
He updated his status in another publication, saying that Coqui had already had surgery to nuke his eye and remove three additional pellets (of the eleven that he still had inside).
