When a man saves an abandoned kitten, it turns out that the kitten also saves him

The Depression is a dark and lonely place, and it can be hard to let anyone in. Caring for three terminally ill cats became a ray of light in the gray for Reddit member Derpton89.

He had been feeding them sincehe found out their mother had abandoned them. He couldn’t bring them inside because the building had a no pets policy. When he went to bring them food one day, he discovered that two of them had perished, probably from disease, and the third kitten was barely alive.

He decided to take a chance and care for his sick cat in his apartment. “He couldn’t see or walk properly because he couldn’t see or walk properly. He fell asleep very immediately after I fed him and gave him a bed (or in this case, me) to sleep on,”

He took him to the vet the next morning, where he was placed on an IV and given medication.

After a week of treatment, Dante’s eyes cleared up and his appetite began to match that of a growing kitten. He even got his voice back and started meowing!

Derpton watched Dante get bigger and healthier day by day. He was thrilled to see the sick kitten become active and gain a personality.

The man was depressed, but the cat was just what he needed to cheer him up. He even considered having Dante classified as an emotional support animal with a therapist.

Dante’s savior became the family he had always wanted and needed; this tiny kitten followed his human around the house, giving him hugs.

Dante freed this sweet boy from his sadness, and it was a pleasure to see the little cat grow and become strong, he added.

In a way, they saved each other! Another heart-warming story that shows the amazing impact of animals.
