Woman takes 18 disabled dogs to the beach for the very first time

Woman takes 18 disabled dogs to the beach for the very first time.

Dogs are among the purest animals on the planet. The smallest everyday events, like a walk or mom or dad coming home from work, are always a source of great joy for our canine companions.

Most dogs would agree that nothing beats exploring the outdoors – but for some, it’s harder than for others. Dogs with disabilities have a hard time negotiating terrain that most dogs can handle instinctively.

Beaches with miles of sand and sea can also be out of the question, which is unfortunate because most dogs love the beach. Do you know that unfathomable happiness you feel at the beach? Dogs, on the other hand, experience it ten times more intensely.

Salima Kadaoui wanted her 18 disabled dogs to be able to enjoy the beach like any other dog.

In Tangier, Morocco, Salima created the SFT animal sanctuary. Most of the dogs she rescues are permanently injured after being hit by cars and abandoned. Fortunately, Salima rarely abandons her dogs, knowing that they can still enjoy their lives if they can adapt to a new way of life.

On July 4, she demonstrated the potential of rehabilitation by taking several of her dogs on a field trip.

Despite having only functional front paws, the dogs ran alongside Salima from one end of the beach to the other. Imagine lying on the beach and hearing a commotion, looking up and finding 18 dogs in wheelchairs running across the sand!

On the beach, you see dogs of all sizes, from a small corgi to a giant German Shepherd. It’s amazing to see how the dog wheelchair has become a life-saver.

A corgi takes Salima’s shoe and shakes it in his mouth before returning it to its owner.

Another video of the dogs racing along the beach shows a mean dog getting the wheel of his friend’s wheelchair in his teeth – yet they still go full speed!

This group looks like they love to have fun, and it’s wonderful that Salima was able to give these dogs the life they deserve.

One thing is certain: these dogs do not let themselves be put down.

They can teach us, humans, a few things about life. How many of us, even those who are not disabled, compare ourselves to others?

The video is beautiful to watch.
